Every Film Format, One Studio
From home movies shot in the 1940s to vacation footage from the 1980s, families across Florida have film reels sitting in closets and attics. We transfer all consumer film formats in-house using frame-by-frame scanning technology that captures every detail from your original footage.
8mm Film
The original home movie format from the 1930s through the 1960s. We use precision film gates and LED light sources to capture clean, flicker-free transfers from these vintage reels.
Super 8
Kodak's improved format that dominated home movies from the late 1960s through the 1980s. Both silent and sound Super 8 reels are supported, with optical audio capture for sound reels.
16mm Film
Larger format film used for higher-quality home movies, educational films, and semi-professional productions. We handle both silent and sound 16mm in standard and widescreen aspect ratios.
All Reel Sizes
From 50-foot reels (about 3 minutes) to 400-foot reels (about 30 minutes) and larger. We handle every standard reel size and can splice broken film before transfer at no extra charge.

Frequently Asked Questions
Most orders are completed within 2 to 3 weeks from the day we receive your reels. Larger collections may take slightly longer. Rush service is available if you need your files sooner.
Yes. We handle both silent and sound film reels. For Super 8 and 16mm reels with magnetic or optical sound tracks, we capture the audio and sync it with the video during the transfer process. The audio is included in your final MP4 file at no extra charge.
In many cases, yes. We have successfully transferred film with splices, minor warping, and early-stage vinegar syndrome. Our technicians assess each reel individually and will let you know what is recoverable before proceeding. There is no charge for reels we cannot transfer.
We deliver your films as MP4 files, which play on virtually any device: phones, tablets, computers, and smart TVs. You can receive your files via USB drive, cloud download through Forever Cloud, or both. We also offer DVD output if you prefer physical discs.
Absolutely. We return all original film reels via insured shipping at no extra cost. Your memories are irreplaceable, and we treat them that way from start to finish.
Budget services often use telecine, which projects the film onto a screen and records it with a camera. This introduces flicker, soft focus, and uneven exposure. Frame-by-frame scanning captures each individual frame with a precision sensor and LED light source, producing sharper images, more accurate colors, and completely flicker-free video.
Your Film Reels Are Deteriorating
Film reels shrink, warp, and develop vinegar syndrome over time. Florida's heat and humidity accelerate the damage. Once a reel is gone, those memories are lost forever. The best time to digitize was yesterday. The second best time is now.
