Kendall's Media Preservation Challenges
Kendall faces the same subtropical threats as the rest of Miami-Dade, with added risks from its inland suburban layout:
Average humidity consistently above 75%, with garage and attic temperatures regularly exceeding 90 degrees during summer months. Kendall is an unincorporated community within Miami-Dade County, and many of its single-family homes were built during the 1970s-1990s suburban boom. That means decades of media sitting in garages without climate control along corridors like Kendall Drive (SW 88th Street), N. Kendall Drive (SW 104th Street), and the Hammocks area.
Hurricane Andrew in 1992 devastated much of the Kendall area, and many families lost irreplaceable media during the storm. Collections that survived may still carry hidden water damage or mold that worsens with each passing year.
This isn't a someday project. Every year of delay means more irreplaceable content lost to moisture, heat, mold, and mechanical failure. Your family's memories deserve preservation now.
We built Forever Studios because every family deserves to have their memories preserved the right way: by real people, with real equipment, under one roof. Miami-Dade families trust us because we treat their collections the way we'd treat our own.

We label and organize files based on whatever information you provide. If you label your tapes or separate your photos into groups, we mirror that organization in the digital files. For large collections, we create a clear folder structure on the USB drive or cloud delivery.
