Stuart's Media Preservation Challenges
Martin County's coastal environment creates unique threats to stored media:
Stuart sits at the confluence of the St. Lucie River and the Indian River Lagoon, surrounded by water on nearly every side. Salt air penetrates homes in Sewall's Point, Hutchinson Island, and Rocky Point, accelerating corrosion of magnetic tape surfaces and photographic emulsion. Humidity in Martin County regularly exceeds 80% during the wet season, feeding mold growth in closets and garages.
Hurricane seasons compound the risk. Frances and Jeanne both struck Martin County in 2004, and flooding from tropical storms has damaged stored belongings in low-lying neighborhoods near the waterfront.
This is not a someday project. Every year of delay means more irreplaceable content lost to moisture, mold, and salt air damage. Your family's memories deserve preservation now.
We built Forever Studios because every family deserves to have their memories preserved the right way, by real people, with real equipment, under one roof. Stuart is just 45 minutes to an hour from our headquarters. You can drive down for a visit, ship your collection, or let us come to you. Either way, your memories are in good hands.

What Stuart-Area Customers Are Saying
"I had some old 1960 Kodak slides that I wanted digitized. After partially filling out online forms for several national digitzing services, I found that the price quoted at the start of the application form wound up being twice as much when it was time to provide my payment in"
Trish, Verified Customer
"So glad I finally did the transfers of my VHS tapes to digital! Some of my tapes were 40 years old. Now I can scan through them easily on my computer or TV. I'm getting ready to send in my next order of mini cassette tapes to have digitized as well."
