Bold claim, we know. But we have a feeling that between our ultra-high quality products, exceptional customer service, ease of use, and overall experience, we have a pretty good argument for it.
As you may know, Forever Studios is all about making constant improvements in everything we do, and as of the release of this article, we’ve actually finished our second big set of expansions and upgrades for 2024. Let’s call it a “mid year refresh”. Literally everything from our website, to our internal process and product quality have been updated in the last few months.
Forever Studios has been having a 2024 to remember.
We started off 2024 with our Memories of America Campaign, which was meant to celebrate the biggest expansion in this company’s history, and now, 7 months later, our studios and our team are thriving. So we’d like to take a moment to show you exactly what you can expect from our three main studios, and introduce you to some of the folks that make these three studios special.
The Three Professional Studios That Create Your Magical Experiences
At the heart of Forever Studios, we have three main studios where all of our production happens. Each one of them is responsible for one of our main product categories, and has its own dedicated staff of professionals who are responsible for getting your projects done with the level of quality you’ve come to expect. These three studios are our Digitize Studio, Restoration Studio & Creative Studio. Together, they create a tour-de-force of capabilities.
Taking a Look at The History & Key People of Our Digitize Studio.
The Digitize Studio was the first studio to be launched for Forever Studios, going all the way back to 2011, when Forever Studios as we know it today came about in earnest. It’s fair to say that the Digitize Studio WAS Forever Studios for all intents and purposes, as at that point in time Forever Studios had not yet started offering Photo Restoration work or Wall Art & Photo Printing.
The Digitize Studio was the first studio we had, and has only grown over the years.
The beginnings of the Digitize Studio were fairly modest. At the time, there were a number of “garage operations” in the media digitizing space, and if we’re being fair, that included us. At least at first. But with a fair amount of success in our local market of South Florida, big investments were made into the Digitize Studio, which have continued until today. It went from a relatively small and simple operation serving nothing but our local market, to a well oiled machine that’s able to handle media digitizing projects for folks all over the USA.

So you may be asking yourself, what makes our Digitize Studio unique from any other company that does media digitizing work? We’re glad you asked, because it comes down to a number of factors which impact the quality of the work we do versus our competitors, the speed at which we can do it, and the degree to which you have your hands around what it is that we’re doing.
The first major factor is technology. There is a concept in business known as the “minimum viable product”. It refers to a product or service which has had the minimum amount of development and investment put into it to be able to deliver a product as advertised. In many cases, a company may try to achieve this minimum viable product, and then simply try to scale that to be able to meet as much basic demand as possible for the least amount of money. Some companies may put a little more development or investment in from that point to be just a bit more competitive.

When it comes to Forever Studios’ approach to development of our Media Digitizing services, our development and investment into our process never stops, and hasn’t since 2011. Our goal is to consistently provide the best service available on the market, and that means that we are constantly re-investing our time, energy, and money into improving our technology.
CONSISTENTLY HIGH QUALITY EQUIPMENT
All of our old playback devices for capturing are the same high-quality models, meticulously maintained to ensure absolute consistency of captures. The same goes for the PCs and conversion devices that we use to perform our initial digitization of old media. There isn’t a single cut rate piece of equipment in our facility, or anything that goes without constant cleaning and maintenance.
And our choices of equipment are all professional grade as well, chosen specifically to integrate as well as possible with the digitizing processes that we use. Every type of digitizing we do at Forever Studios is a process that we developed ourselves, with no “off the rack” solutions. The amount of research, testing and development that goes into these processes is pretty extreme, and we actually have an entire Research & Development team who have the job of evaluating and improving these processes, so we can keep our quality edge against our national competitors.
PROPER LEADERSHIP LEADS TO PROPER RESULTS.
The other major factor that makes our Digitize Studio superior to our competitors is our staff. Expertise in media production goes a VERY long way in making sure that our products meet a consistently high standard of excellence. While we do give opportunities to less experienced people to learn new skills and develop their careers at Forever Studios, we have a rule here about maintaining a certain set of standards for the people we add to our team.
We simply refuse to skimp on talent. And unlike our national competitors, who have developed a reputation of hiring people without proper qualifications, and then pressuring them to hit certain quotas, every person selected to join our team must have a background in either Information Technology, Media Production, or a similar field. We also have an extremely strong focus on having proper leadership. Which brings us to your Head Technician.
MEET DAVID, THE HEAD TECHNICIAN OF THE DIGITIZE STUDIO.
David is a pretty special guy. He’s an incredibly hard working industry veteran who spends every day ensuring that we are meeting our objectives in every way. David originally came from the world of IT, having spent decades both as an internal IT director in the corporate world, and as an independent IT contractor. As a hobby, David has always had a passion for historical video and photography, and he’s the guy who always brings his camera to company events.
David here is one of the most important people on our team.
In his role as Head Technician, David is responsible for the training of new personnel, adherence to our internal processes, inventory of devices, operational status of all rigs and way more. His level of dedication to the job is a very large part of how we always manage to hit our marks in the Digitize Studio. He lives and breathes our values here, and to be completely honest, a lot of those values came from David himself. He was here during many of Forever Studios’ biggest moments, and his level of professionalism and personal responsibility serves as a strong example to the entire Digitize Studio.
OUR HEAD ENGINEER EMILIO IS A TECHNICAL MASTERMIND.
Our other “big hitter” in the Digitize Studio is Emilio here. His background is in Engineering, and quickly earned his position as Forever Studios’ head of Engineering, Research & Development. His amazing level of expertise in both technology and media has allowed him to continually make big strides in every part of the Digitize Studio, on a near constant basis.
Engineering talent like Emilio is an absolute must for a business like FS.
Making those improvements means finding ways to improve the speed and simplicity of our digitizing processes, while also improving overall quality of product for our customers. This is in no way easy work. Typically, better quality means a more complicated process, and better speed and efficiency means worse quality. But through his extensive knowledge of both software and hardware solutions, as well as having great leadership of his team, he always manages to find ways to get this job done.
How The Restoration Studio Became the Best Online Photo Restoration Service.
The Restoration Studio was the second studio to be formed by Forever Studios in the mid 2010s, after Forever Studios owner Zachary Goldberg realized that, with some ingenuity, digital photo restoration could be done over the internet. As far as we can tell, Forever Studios Photo Restoration was the first such service to hit the market, and has grown into the most well fleshed out one on offer today.
The Restoration Studio is home to a team of artists and historians who work in both a professional and consumer capacity. While the biggest jobs that they take on these days are for our professional partners like museums and historical societies, the Restoration Studio team is big enough that they can also handle our daily orders from Forever Studios customers placing orders over the internet in only 2-3 days.
The Restoration Studio is an absolute powerhouse of talent.
But in all honesty, the best thing about working with the Restoration Studio might be how easy it is. OUR LEAD ARTIST AND RESTORATION STUDIO LEADER, OLIVIA.
Olivia has been with Forever Studios for a long time, and for people in the know, they understand that there is no one better suited to the job of leading our Restoration Studio. Olivia got her start all the way back when the Restoration business started, working as one of our earliest artists. It was obvious from the first days that her skills were above and beyond any expectations that we had, and she was always willing to share her newest techniques and skills with the rest of the team.
After some time, Olivia basically became the de-facto leader of the team. Whenever the most important projects came in, she was the obvious choice to tackle them, and she spent hours working with the rest of the team to ensure that the results that came from Forever Studios were consistently excellent. Because of her dependability and natural leadership, it was an obvious choice to name her the leader of the Restoration Studio when it was formalized.
Olivia is really something special, and we’re happy to bring her work to the masses.
Now her expanded role includes evaluating every piece of work that comes into the studio, hand selecting the Restoration Studio staff that will be assigned to that work, and personally reviewing every project before it makes its way back to a customer.
Frankly, we couldn’t be more proud of the work she does. And perhaps as a result of her years of great work, we actually have a large contingent of customers who simply refuse to work with anyone else. We actually had to add an option for our Restoration Studio projects so people could request her services specifically. Talk about a reputation.
Making Stories Come to Life with The Creative Studio
The Creative Studio was the last of the three major studios to be formed as part of Forever Studios, and perhaps the one that we’re the most excited about. After having some success in navigating the Covid pandemic, Forever Studios had some choices that we could make in terms of expanding our product offerings. With some careful consideration about what made sense for our customers, it became obvious that offering printed products, art, framing, and other services like it would make the overall experience so much more exciting for people trying to rediscover their favorite memories.
The Creative Studio may be newer, but it is no less extensive in capabilities than the other two.
So we set to work on figuring out exactly how to build a facility with all of the necessary tools, machines, printers and computers that we would need. We also had to start building a staff that could run this studio! After a few months of planning, we started procuring all of the necessary gear, and building the online software that would allow people to build their custom artwork online. Before long, we were shipping out professional grade art and prints nationwide.
MEET KATE, OUR CREATIVE DIRECTOR & HEAD OF THE CREATIVE STUDIO
Kate is one of the longest tenured members of the Forever Studios staff, and regularly works hand in hand with Owner and CEO Zachary Goldberg on important internal projects for the company. As a matter of fact, Kate was one of the few key people who stayed on during the Covid pandemic, and contributed a great deal to helping the company navigate the crisis and come out the other side in a healthy position. During that period of time, she simultaneously had to perform the basic work of keeping the company running, while also working on top level strategy and concepts.
Kate is an irreplaceable part of our Forever Studios team, and unbelievably dedicated.
But Kate’s main talents are in design and art, and she was not only the main architect of building out the Creative Studio, but the leader of the department as well. Every single one of our art collections in the Creative Studio were conceived of by her, and she also developed each of the custom items that we offer.
She now leads a team of creatives and artisans who each follow the same dedication to hand-built excellence that she initially brought to the Creative Studio, and her work and designs are appreciated by everyone from national customers, to local art institutions, and even local business partners.
