One kit covers every trip: the box to your door, your box to our studio in Boca Raton, and the return. When it arrives, a real person counts every item and calls you before anything is digitized.

$35 ship kit, all three trips. On orders over $350, the $35 comes off your invoice. Nothing is billed later for shipping.
How it works
Five steps, and one phone call.
It works like a phone order with a box attached. You never have to count tapes at the kitchen table or guess at a total online.

Your kit arrives
A crush-proof box, a packing guide, barcode labels and a prepaid label addressed to our studio.

Pack it and ship it
Tapes, film reels, photos, slides, cassettes and discs can all go in the same box. Seal it, attach the label and hand it to the carrier.

We count it and call you
The day your box arrives, every item is logged and barcoded. Within one business day, someone from the studio calls to go through the count, the formats and your delivery options.

You approve the order
Nothing is digitized until you say yes to an itemized order. If a tape turns out to be blank or unplayable, we tell you on that call.

Files and originals come back
Your order is finished 2 to 3 weeks after you approve it. Your originals come back tracked and insured for the full value of your order.

Three trips, one price.
Some mail-in kits bill the return trip after the work is done. Ours is paid for the day you buy the kit, so the price you see is the shipping you pay.

Orders over $350
The $35 comes back in full.
When your order comes to more than $350, we take the $35 off your invoice during the call. The total counts your digitizing and any add-ons, such as a USB drive or Forever Cloud, before shipping and tax and after any promo code.

Your box comes to one building in Boca Raton, Florida, where the same team handles it from the day it arrives to the day it ships home. Forever Studios has been doing this work since 2007.
Every order is checked five times by hand, whatever you send:
Receiving
Every item is inspected by hand and logged the day it arrives, before anything is played.
Technician
Reads the receiving notes, handles each item again and decides how to run it.
Capture
The footage is watched while it captures, and problems are logged as they happen.
Department lead
The technical lead checks the finished capture. Anything wrong goes back to the bench.
QC department
A separate team checks the whole order before it is released.
Every tape is logged by its label, so the call can tell you exactly what arrived.

How do I order a kit?
Call (561) 235-7808. We take your name and address, charge the $35 and send the kit.
What does the $35 cover?
Three trips: the kit to your door, your box to our studio on a prepaid label, and the return of your originals. All three are tracked and insured, and the return is insured for the full value of your order.
When do I get the $35 back?
When your order comes to more than $350. That total counts your digitizing and add-ons, such as a USB drive or Forever Cloud, before shipping and tax and after any promo code. We take the $35 off your invoice during the call.
What happens on the call?
We go through what arrived, item by item, flag anything blank or damaged, and help you choose how your files come back. Then we send you the itemized order. Nothing is digitized until you approve it.
What if I miss the call?
We try again by phone, text and email. Your box waits at the studio until we reach you.
What if I decide not to go ahead?
We send your originals back, tracked and insured. The $35 has already paid for that trip, so there is nothing more to pay.
Do long tapes cost more?
No. A tape is one price whether it runs 20 minutes or six hours.
What about blank or broken tapes?
We tell you about them on the call, before anything is billed. Blank or unplayable tapes carry a small handling fee.
How much fits in one kit?
Fill the box with any mix of tapes, reels, photos and discs. If your collection needs more room, order a second kit.
How long does it take?
2 to 3 weeks from the day you approve your order. If you need it sooner, ask about rush service on the call.
Do I need a subscription?
No. Your files come back on the delivery you choose, such as a USB drive. Forever Cloud is an optional paid membership if you want your files online.
