Local Alternative to Legacybox & iMemories | Boca Raton

VHS Tapes · Film Reels · Photos · Audio · Digitized in Boca Raton
You don’t have to mail your memories anywhere.
Forever Studios is an owner-operated preservation lab in Boca Raton. Your originals are received, digitized and handed back in the same building, by the people who did the work. No box. No shipping label. No fine print.
1000 Clint Moore Road, Boca Raton: the production floor where real engineers handle every tape, reel and photo that comes through the door.
The part the national big box digitizing companies put in their terms, not their ads
Mailing works fine, right up until it doesn’t.
Your only copies, handed to a carrier and out of your hands.
We are not going to characterize the national services. We quote them: their own published terms, dated and linked.
A sorting-facility conveyor. Every mail-in kit rides one of these twice.
Not sure what you have? Call and describe it, or just bring the box in. Walk-ins welcome, and we will tell you what is worth doing before anything starts.
What we transfer
Everything in the closet, not just the tapes.
Every format is priced per item and handled the same way: one technician, one building, checked five times before it ships.
Also DVDs and CDs, including scratched or aging home-burned discs, recovered to MP4. Not sure what you have? Call and describe it; we have seen it before.
Ours never leave this room
Your originals stay in one building.
Logged by name when they come in. Worked on by the engineers you see here, with your bin on the bench. Handed back across the counter by the technician who did it. There is no carrier in the middle, because there is no trip.
What you are about to trust to a shipping label
Every wedding. Every birthday. Your parents’ voices.
If the box is crushed or lost on the way, whose problem is it? They put the answer in their terms.
“YOU MAY NOT RECEIVE YOUR MATERIALS BACK … IN THE SAME CONDITION.”
Legacybox Terms & Conditions. Capitalization theirs.
Maximum liability: the fees you paid, “or $100, whichever is less.”
iMemories Terms & Conditions.
Loss or damage remedy: “up to one thousand dollars ($1,000).”
EverPresent Client Agreement. Applies “equally” to their partner drop-off locations.
